TIME TO REPENT.

I tend to neglect this website of mine. Time to repent. I recently wrapped up my third year at Bridgewater State University, which is impossible to believe. Beyond my usual courses, I taught Advanced Audio Production for the first time (it's now officially mine! Woo!) and created a new course called Filmmaking for Social Justice. I also became the faculty advisor for the Filmmakers Society and BSU's radio station, WBIM 91.5 FM. Everyone says this, but it remains true: the best thing about this job is the students.

Much of my own creative energy has been devoted to a new feature documentary exploring the experiences of women diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood through the lens of my own story. The project is currently in early development as I pursue funding while continuing research and preproduction tidbits.

I have also expanded my work beyond traditional documentary filmmaking. My sculptural installation, So Important to See Your Body Type Represented in the Media #ramonahp, received First Place in New Media at the University Film & Video Association conference and is currently under consideration for further exhibition. Making work for a gallery setting has opened up new artistic possibilities that I am pumped to continue. More soon. I promise. Probably.
